Star was my first Champion and a gorgeous Golden with the most wonderful sweet temperament. He never met a stranger -- either human or animal and he loved to show, competing in Veterans at Golden specialties until the year he died. He always thought the clapping must be for him. Star is the only adult dog that I knew would be totally fine around baby pups -- he would let them hang off of his flews and feathering, and they adored him. I miss you Starman....
